The Business Side of Youth

For any youth interested in becoming an entrepreneur, starting their own business, or learning skills that are a necessity in today’s business world should join the B-Side.  The B-Side was founded in 2007 as a project of eastern Michigan University\'s Office of Academic Service- Learning (AS-L).  The vision of the B-Side is to establish a youth leadership and business culture through entrepreneurship education that provides greater economic opportunities for youth.  The B-Side has programs that can fit the business needs of any youth:

· B-Side Basics- An intensive 18-week entrepreneurial education program, culminating in the development of a business plan.

· Young Moguls Club- Enterprise development through the implementation of youth business plans.

· B-Side Enterprises- Experiential learning about business through internships, business shadowing, and community programs and events.
